Artist Statement

Noah Carroll, Illustrator.

Welcome to the online portfolio of Noah Carroll. 

My journey as an Illustrator began in 2016 when I was going through a slump, I had just graduated High school and had no clue where to go next. To cope with the anxiety I began drawing recreationally and soon found I had a passion for art and wanted to pursue it further than just a hobby. 

As an Illustrator my primary focus is cartooning, I have been heavily inspired by the Illustrators found in "The New Yorker" as well as Norman Rockwell, Bill Ward and 20th Century Pin-Up Artists.​

Most of the Illustrations you'll find here are done traditionally and are done using ink washing techniques. They feature funny/relatable scenes inspired by my own life or thoughts.
